So, life is full of surprises, no? Some rather unpleasant. Like heart attacks, for instance. Ask me how I know… Yes, really. Out of the blue, I had a heart attack and an ambulance ride and immediate surgery to place four stents. While I am now home and trying to wrap my head around how my life nearly ended less than a week ago, now the medical bills will come due. I feel like a real jerk for asking for help, but it turns out that heart attacks are very scary AND very expensive, and I cannot do this alone. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
