Hello, my name is Michael David Smith. The reason for my starting this fundraiser is I have stage 5 end-stage renal failure and I need a kidney transplant. My insurance covers everything except for a deposit, which is $6,700 that I can’t cover. I’m disabled and have four children at home. We live off social security disability and we’re doing our best, but as we get closer and closer to getting the kidney, we’re going to have to have that up front. I have a live-in donor, my mother, so this is the reason for me starting this fundraiser. I appreciate whatever you can donate. Thank you so much.
