Hello, my name is Jakobie. I’m reaching out with humility and hope, asking for your help to restore something most of us take for granted every day—clear vision.
Over time, cataracts have clouded my sight and slowly dimmed the world around me. What used to be sharp and vibrant has become blurred and gray. It affects not just how I see, but how I live—my ability to work, to read, to create, and most of all, to care for the people who depend on me.
The cost of cataract surgery is beyond what I can manage right now, and my insurance won’t cover it, though the need is urgent. Left untreated, cataracts can lead to complete vision loss. The surgery is highly effective, and it would give me the chance to see clearly again—to fully return to the life I love, and the future I’m still building.
