hello, my name is Sara Jewell-Banuelos. Chase and Nicki Brown are two of my best friends.
On May 31, 2025, Nicki gave birth to their beautiful baby girl, Wrenn Nicole. Immediately after being born, Wrenn showed signs of complications including seizures and an episode where she stopped breathing. She was transported by helicopter to another hospital for further testing. However, this new hospital is now 3 hours away from their home of Redding, as well as their 2.5 year old son, Quinn. To add to this, Nicki was admitted herself for several days due to complications of her own. Gas, food, lodging, and medical bills are already adding up fast, and being able to spend time with their precious baby should be their first concern.
Anyone who knows Chase and Nicki know how loving, kind, and giving they are. They would give the shirt off their back to someone who needed it. Now in their time of need, I hope our village can help them. Anything you’re able to contribute will go directly to them while they navigate this hard and confusing new chapter. Thank you so much.
