Thad Ricketts recovery fundraiser

My nephew Thad Ricketts had a bad vehicle accident March 11th. They flew him to Greenville Pisma Health. He had a torn colon which required two surgeries. He also had two fractures on his pelvis. During this time they had to do a feeding tube. He was in Greenville a few weeks but was released way too soon. After a few day’s of being home he aspirated and was rushed by ambulance to Self Regional in Greenwood and was admitted into the ICU with pneumonia. While he was finally recovering in a regular room and waiting to have surgery to get the feeding tube extended he became septic. Thad went back to the ICU a very sick man for weeks. He went into cardiac arrest twice because of his airway being obstructed with secretion’s. He now has a trach and feeding tube extended. Thad has been moved to Anderson to Regency Anmed north campus. He has been on dialysis several times and not sure when he will stop that as his kidneys were hit very hard. He hasn’t been able to speak or get out of bed. Thad has a very long road ahead of him to recovery. His wife April has been out of work alot to be by his side and has used all of her PTO time that she had. So if you can help donate with bills especially as the medical ones come in and the gas for her to go back and forth will be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate, please just keep them in your prayers.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
