Hi, my name is Simone Johnson, and I’m raising funds for a tendon transfer surgery.
When I was two years old, I became seriously ill with a high fever. Due to the severity of my condition, I was rushed to the hospital, where I received an injection that unfortunately hit the wrong nerve in my right leg. Since then, my right leg has not developed properly and has grown smaller than my left leg. This has made walking difficult and has also limited my educational and career opportunities.
This fundraiser will help cover the cost of a tendon transfer surgery, which will help balance my right leg and significantly reduce the pain I experience while doing everyday activities.
