Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted neighbors—
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for help for someone who’s always been there for everyone else: Bobbi West.
On a recent trip with her son Gracen, Bobbi hit unexpected road debris, causing a catastrophic mechanical failure. Their car rolled four times. While Gracen miraculously walked away with just a few bruises, Bobbi was airlifted to Enloe Hospital in Chico and has undergone multiple surgeries. Her injuries are severe and life-changing, and the road to healing will be long.
If you know Bobbi, you know she’s a fighter with a servant’s heart. For the past three years, she’s been part of Redding Buzz, shining a light on local businesses, promoting community events, and pouring positivity into our town. She’s worked tirelessly behind the scenes and on the frontlines—all while balancing her own personal challenges with grace and grit.
Now it’s our turn to give back.
Bobbi’s recovery will require extended care, follow-up surgeries, therapy, and mobility support. Funds raised will help cover:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Travel to specialist appointments
Adaptive equipment and mobility aids
Household and personal care support while she heals
Lost income during this recovery period
We are so grateful to Mike at Court Street Eats and Allen from Ma Der Ma Der Sap House & Grill for already stepping up to support Bobbi in this time of need.
Let’s rally together and lift up someone who’s lifted so many of us.
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping Bobbi and Gracen in your prayers.
With love and gratitude,
The Redding Buzz Family
