Hello! My name is William.

I’m 71 and have stage 3 Liver Cell Carcinoma (cancer). I currently am in the Hospice section of a nursing home.

Most of my life, I was a self-centered, entitled person. I took more from society than I gave. As a direct result of my lifestyle, I now find myself all alone. My wife passed away some years ago, and I have not had any contact with my daughter in over 30 years. The one thing that I have come to realize is that poor, negative decisions can have grave consequences. I should have understood that every moment with our loved ones is very precious.

The one thing that I desire is to be able to lay in this bed with the realization that when I leave this world, I won’t be a burden on society. What I am asking for is help with my funeral expenses and some help with my medical bills.
