My name is Brynna, my sister (Brittany) and I are trying to raise money so our mom (Tina) can get a PET scan done. She was diagnosed with Sqamous Cell Carcinoma (throat cancer), in May of 2024. She was in remission since the fall, but the cancer has come back. She needs a PET scan ASAP to 1.) confirm the cancer and 2.) make sure it isn’t anywhere else other than the place that hurts the most in her throat. She is in the process of getting insurance, she was unaware it had lapsed and we cannot schedule the PET scan until we can prove funds to pay for it. The total cost is $1,797, she has also had to pay 100% out of pocket for the pain medication, as the pharmacy will not allow her to use a discount card. We sincerely appreciate any and all contributions to this fund as we try to figure all of the insurance issues. Thank you to everyone in advance.
