**Help the Flojo Francois Family Heal and Reunite**

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out on behalf of the Francois Flojo family—Andrew Flojo, Angela Francois, and their sweet 7-year-old son, Kainoa.
This past spring, their family was hit hard by a serious viral infection. While Andrew and Kainoa recovered normally, Angela’s health took a much more difficult turn. After several days of intense fever and body pain, she developed alarming neurological symptoms—swelling and heat at the base of her head, uncontrollable anxiety and panic, insomnia, and overwhelming fatigue. She is currently being treated for post-viral syndrome, which has impacted her nervous system and left her unable to work or care for her son as she normally does. Despite receiving both holistic and Western medical treatment, recovery has been slow.
Angela, a tango instructor and devoted homeschooling mom, has needed full-time family support. In April, her sister Michele and family traveled to Olympia, WA to help for six-weeks, and in mid-May, brought Angela and Kainoa back to Appleton, WI to continue recovery with extended family (four sisters and parents) nearby. This support has been essential—but it’s also difficult being separated from Andrew and their medical team in Olympia. Andrew is a self-employed massage therapist, and due to financial constraints, hasn’t been able to take time off work to be fully present during this difficult time.
Meanwhile, Kainoa has been facing his own challenges. He’s been suffering from severe eczema and skin allergies for several months, often waking in the night from intense itching and discomfort. He needs someone to sleep next to him each night to help prevent scratching and soothe him. With Angela struggling with insomnia and Andrew far away, family members have been taking turns staying with him—exhausting but necessary. He’s being treated by a pediatric dermatologist and naturopathic doctors, but it remains an ongoing challenge day and night.
This situation has deeply strained the family—physically, emotionally, and financially. As self-employed workers, Angela and Andrew have no access to paid sick leave. The cost of missed work, travel, treatments, and daily care is mounting.
**We are humbly asking for your support to raise $5,000 to help this family stabilize and heal together.
Your donation will help cover:
* Lost wages so Andrew can take 2–3 weeks off work to join his family in WI for a week and then fly them home and get them settled back in.
* Airfare for Andrew and the family’s return trip to Olympia in July.
* Medical and therapy visits, both holistic and Western not covered by insurance.
* Supplements and medications not covered by insurance.
* Basic living expenses and breathing room to focus on healing.
