Support Rebekah Through Her Battle with Breast Cancer

This fundraiser is being created to help support Rebekah during the next phase of her journey with Breast Cancer. After receiving the diagnosis of invasive ductile carcinoma, Rebekah underwent a double mastectomy on May 12. With intentions to return to work after recovery from surgery, doctors have reviewed her case and specific cancer pathology and now ordered her to go through 8 rounds of chemo and 25 rounds of radiation. This has prolonged Rebekah’s return to work at the job she loves so much. As a hospice social worker, Rebekah spends her days pouring love, support, and encouragement into families and patients during their end of life. As much as Rebekah is ready to return to this “ministry” (she calls it), she is having to take unplanned time off from work for an extended period of time. Due to this unforeseen circumstance, Rebekah will need financial support to assist her and her family in their obligations while she is not receiving her regular salary. With a household income drastically reduced, any donation is greatly appreciated.

As you all know, Rebekah is a giver. She is called to be the advocate for others and loves every second of pouring into the hearts and lives of others. So many have been the recipient of her heart’s work. Faith communities, those in the foster care system, those in recovery, those reintegrating into society, and families now saying goodbye to their loved ones have all experienced the love and compassion she so easily gives to others. If you know her, she is NOT the one to ask for help. Let’s give back to her some of the love and support that she so easily gives to others. Your contribution to this fundraiser will help with financial and medical expenses while she is out of work receiving treatment. If you cannot donate, Rebekah would be the first to tell you she “covets your prayers” the most.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
