Help Pedro Toribio Gonzalez from Traumatic Brain Injury
Pedro was living in Florida with his family, and in 2007 he went to North Carolina to visit his brothers and sisters for a Christmas family gathering. On the 29th of December of the same year, Pedro and 3 others were driving and were in a car accident. Unfortunately, one family member lost his life and Pedro Toribio was rushed to the hospital where doctors treated his serious injuries, and for 2 weeks he was in a coma. He was able to come out of the coma, but he was diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury that has left him paralyzed for 17 years now.
Because he doesn’t have health insurance, every medical expense has been out of pocket.
The family lost their main source of income, which was Pedro, and they have been struggling over the past 17 years.

Ayuda a Pedro Toribio González por Traumatismo Cerebral
Pedro vivía en Florida con su familia y, en 2007, viajó a Carolina del Norte para visitar a sus hermanos y hermanas en una reunión familiar navideña. El 29 de diciembre de ese mismo año, Pedro y otras tres personas conducían un coche y sufrieron un accidente automovilístico. Desafortunadamente, un familiar falleció y Pedro Toribio fue trasladado de urgencia al hospital, donde los médicos trataron sus graves heridas. Durante dos semanas, permaneció en coma. Logró salir del coma, pero le diagnosticaron Traumatismo Cerebral que lo ha dejado paralizado durante 17 años.
Al no tener seguro médico, todos los gastos médicos han corrido por cuenta propia.
La familia perdió su principal fuente de ingresos, que era Pedro, y han estado pasando apuros durante los últimos 17 años.
