“I was sick and you looked after me.” – Matthew 25:36
It is with humble hearts and unwavering faith that we come to you to ask for support for our beloved Pastor Ritchie, who is currently undergoing biopsy testing following a recent diagnosis of prostate cancer. Just months ago, he bravely underwent surgery at Parkland Hospital in Dallas to remove a brain tumor—and by God’s grace, he recovered. Now, he faces yet another health challenge, and we are believing for healing, strength, and provision.
Pastor Ritchie has spent his life as a servant of God and a shepherd to His people. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Spurger and now leads the congregation at Dangriga Baptist Church. Throughout his ministry, he has opened his heart and his home to the broken, the abandoned, and the lost—raising children not his own, counseling families in crisis, and walking with many through the valley of life’s deepest trials.
He and his wife of over 50 years have raised three wonderful children, including a son who proudly served 12 years in the United States Marine Corps. As a family rooted in faith and service, they have poured into their community without asking for anything in return.
Today, we ask on their behalf.
We know that God is Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals. And we also know that He often works through the compassion and generosity of others. If Pastor Ritchie has ever prayed for you, encouraged you, or reminded you of God’s love, we now ask that you prayerfully consider returning that kindness.
All funds raised will go directly toward his medical expenses: ongoing testing, treatment, medications, and any necessary care during this journey. No amount is too small, and every gift is received with deep gratitude.
Thank you for lifting Pastor Ritchie up in prayer and in giving. May God bless you richly for your kindness and generosity.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
With love and faith,
The Ritchie Family
