Help Support My Mom’s Recovery and Care
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help on behalf of my mom, who was recently placed in a nursing home/rehabilitation facility after spending three weeks in the ICU. During that time, she was unable to be moved, which sadly led to a loss of mobility — she is currently unable to walk and is now facing a long road to recovery.
My mom and dad are both retired and live on a fixed income. Unfortunately, the nursing home copay is $200 per day, a cost that’s simply overwhelming for them. They would never ask for help themselves — in fact, they don’t even know I’m doing this. As their only child and a single parent, I wish there were more I could do to support them financially, but I’ve reached a point where I have to ask for the kindness of others.
Any donation, no matter how small, would go directly toward helping cover the cost of my mom’s care and rehabilitation. Every little bit truly makes a difference and would mean so much to our family.
