My name is Paula Christie, and I have been with my husband, Mike, for over 20 years. Mike pretty much helped raise my 24 and 28-year-old daughters and came into my life with his own daughter, who has Down syndrome and is now 32 years old. Mike and I also had a daughter together who is now 20 years old.
Mike has struggled with heart issues the last few years and has had a pacemaker put in, stents, and ablations. He went to his appointment today to find out that his legs have 60 to 70 percent blood flow blockage. They want to do surgery next month, but his deductible from his insurance is so high, and we can’t afford it.
