Hello friends, family, and community—
I’m Michael, and for over a decade, I’ve quietly navigated life with Crohn’s disease, an invisible disability that affects every aspect of my health and work. Over the past two years, I’ve been hospitalized five times due to complications, and my intestine is now nearly 95% closed in one region. On June 18, 2025, I’m scheduled for major surgery to address these issues.
To heal properly, I’ll need to pause all sources of income. In addition, I’ve already been unable to onboard new clients for the past month as I prepare. After surgery, I’ll need to remain out of work for six weeks to focus on recovery.
Because medical costs, lost income, and daily living expenses all add up—and hospital bills are still being finalized—I’m asking for your support to cover:
- Surgery & Medical Costs
- Hospital Bill Buffer
- Lost Income
- Living Expenses
Every dollar helps ensure I can focus on healing without the stress of financial strain—and it also shines a light on the stigma and challenges of invisible disabilities like Crohn’s disease.
