Support for Michael Griffith’s open heart surgery and recovery.
On June 13th our dad, Michael, went in for a routine stress test at his cardiologist and was told that he needed an emergent heart catherization due to the results of the test. He was immediately hospitalized in the intensive care unit and was shortly transferred to Baptist Floyd Hospital for a bicuspid aortic valve repair and a bypass of the ventricular artery.
Our dad truly is one of a kind who has always put his children and grandchildren first. He finds joy in the simple things. He is a hard worker in the agriculture industry as a dedicated feed truck operator.
Due to the extent of the surgery and his recovery ahead, he will be out of work for a minimum of 8-10 weeks after being released from the hospital. Funds raised will go toward helping cover his expenses during recovery and easing his financial strain while he focuses on healing.
This has been a sudden and difficult time for our family. We are deeply grateful for any support you can give whether it’s through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or keeping Michael in your thoughts and prayers.
