Hi, I’m Matteo, and I’m raising money to get top surgery.
Top surgery is a gender-affirming procedure that removes breast tissue to create a flat chest. It’s something I’ve wanted since I was 13 years old—and I’m 21 now. This has been a dream and a deep need for me for years, and I’m finally in a place where I’m ready to take that step. I just need help getting there.
For me, this surgery isn’t just about how I look—it’s about finally being able to live in a body that feels right. Dysphoria has been a huge struggle in my life. It affects my confidence, my ability to connect with others, and my mental health on a daily basis. Being in my body often feels like carrying a weight I can’t set down. This surgery would lift so much of that weight—it would drastically reduce my depression, anxiety, and stress levels, and give me the chance to just exist without constantly battling how uncomfortable I feel in my skin.
Unfortunately, top surgery is expensive. Between the surgery itself, travel, time off work, and aftercare, the costs add up quickly—and even with insurance, not everything is covered. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for help. If you’re able to donate, you’d be helping me take a life-changing step toward finally feeling like myself.
