Support Lorelai’s Burn Recovery Journey

On the morning of June 7th, three-year-old Lorelai Virginia Neff suffered a life-changing accident while camping with her family. She fell onto hot coals in a fire pit, resulting in severe third-degree burns. Lorelai was first rushed to a nearby hospital and then airlifted to Grand Rapids Children’s Hospital, where she remains under sedation as doctors work to treat her injuries. She has already undergone burn removal procedures and faces the possibility of at least two more surgeries, including a potential skin graft. Her recovery will be long and challenging, and she is expected to stay in the hospital for at least a week, with ongoing care needed after she returns home.

Lorelai’s parents and grandparents are doing everything they can to support her, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. With only one income in the household and Lorelai’s mom needing to take at least a month off work (unpaid) to care for her, the family is struggling to keep up with everyday expenses. The cost of traveling between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, along with rent, utilities, food, and other necessities, is adding up quickly. Once Lorelai is home, she will need continued aftercare and support as she heals from her injuries.

Your support will help Lorelai’s family focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial hardship. Every donation will go directly toward travel expenses, living costs, and the care Lorelai needs to heal. Thank you for helping this family through an incredibly difficult time.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
