This is a cause close to my heart because my Jefferey is now battling stage IV metastatic prostate cancer. (MPC)f, which has a far lower survival rate than that for patients whose prostate cancer is localized. Could it have been stopped before it metastasized? Absolutely. But it was left without a proper diagnosis until it was too late, which compelled us to turn to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His condition was beyond surgery, so intense radiation was necessary. While it has stemmed the cancer in his prostate and lymph nodes for now, it has left him in constant debilitating pain for which there is no effective treatment.
Rather than fully succumbing to the pain, Jeff has persevered and devoted himself to prostate cancer prevention, and means of support for those who have MPC. His background in public relations, art, music, and tech consulting have helped him pursue his purpose with conviction. He also has the full backing of his Mayo Clinic oncology and palliative care team at this first phase.
