Hi everyone,
I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life has brought us to a place where we need to lean on the kindness of others.
Our sweet boy was diagnosed with a rare condition called pulmonary sling and a tracheal abnormality at 4 months old. For those that are unfamiliar with this rare congenital heart condition, it’s where one of the arteries that supplies blood to the lungs, the left pulmonary artery, takes an abnormal path. Instead of branching off normally from the heart, it wraps around the trachea (windpipe) and esophagus (food pipe). These conditions affect his ability to breathe and eat properly, and he needs urgent, life-saving surgery to correct them.
The diagnosis came after countless doctor visits, tests, and sleepless nights filled with worry. Our baby now faces a complex surgery and a difficult road to recovery, one that requires not only expert medical care but also continuous monitoring and follow-ups for months, if not years, to come.
We’re not the kind of family that usually asks for help. We’ve always tried to handle things on our own, but the mounting medical bills, specialized treatments, travel costs to see pediatric specialists, and unexpected expenses have put us in an impossible situation. To make things harder, I losing my job on July 1st, and with it, a big part of the financial stability we relied on.
That’s why we’re turning to our community, friends, and family to ask for support in any way you can offer it. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:
