Our son Kenji is in urgent need of an accessible van to help him get to his medical appointments, therapy sessions, and to travel around the city safely and comfortably. We recently applied for assistance through a granting organization, but unfortunately, we were not approved for support. Without a properly equipped van, transportation has become a major challenge for our family. We are also trying to make our home more accessible so Kenji can move around safely and independently, but the necessary modifications—such as ramps, widened doorways, and an accessible bathroom—are costly, and right now even basic things like getting to and using the bathroom are especially difficult for him. We are now seeking funds and support in any way possible to improve Kenji’s quality of life and give him the mobility and comfort he deserves.
