Help Kamryn Get the Surgery She Needs
Kamryn is a bright, sweet, and sassy 5-year-old who lights up every room she enters. She loves playing outside, coloring for hours, and snuggling up with her favorite stuffed animals. But behind her big smile is a little girl who’s been quietly battling something serious for far too long.
For years, Kamryn struggled with unexplained medical issues—constant fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and trouble just being a carefree kid. It wasn’t until a recent sleep study that doctors discovered the heartbreaking truth: Kamryn has both obstructive and central sleep apnea. Her brain and body aren’t communicating the way they should during sleep.
A follow-up MRI gave us the answer we didn’t want to hear—Kamryn has Chiari Malformation Type 1, a condition where part of her brain pushes down into her spinal canal, causing pressure, pain, and dangerous complications, and rarely diagnosed in children. It affects her balance, coordination, breathing, and ability to sleep safely.
Now she needs decompression surgery to relieve the pressure on her brain and spinal cord—a surgery that could change the course of her life. But it comes with a heavy cost: $15,000 in medical bills, and recovery time as well as missing several weeks of work to be able to stay home and make sure Kamryn gets the care she needs.
We’re reaching out with full hearts and open hands to ask for your help.
Kamryn deserves to grow up without pain. She deserves to sleep peacefully, to breathe easily, to play without limits. She’s already been so strong—and now, she just needs a little help from people who care.
If you can donate, we are endlessly grateful. If you can share her story, that means the world too. Every dollar brings us closer to giving Kamryn the chance to just be a kid again.
From our family to yours, thank you for helping Kamryn heal.
