Dear Friends,
My name is Joe Foti, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a plea for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. Recently, I underwent a critical surgery on my foot due to complications from diabetes, which tragically resulted in the amputation of the top half of my foot.
The reality of my situation is daunting. The medical bills from the multiple surgery’s, hospital stay, and ongoing everyday wound care are piling up, and I anticipate needing further wound treatments, specialized footwear, and physical therapy to learn to walk again. Beyond that, we are struggling to keep up with the everyday costs of living that don’t pause just because life throws you a curveball.
I am not one to ask for help easily, but we are at a point where we truly need a community to rally around me and my family. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make an immense difference in alleviating the financial burden and allowing me to focus on my recovery without the constant stress of how I’m going to make ends meet.
This would give myself and my family the peace of mind to heal, to adapt to my new circumstances, and to eventually get back on my feet – both literally and figuratively. I am determined to recover and regain my independence, but I can’t do it alone.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing my story. Spreading the word is incredibly helpful and just as valuable.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer. Your kindness means the world to us.
With immense gratitude,
The Foti Family
