Hello and thank you for taking your time to read about me.

I’m Jessica and I have had heart failure for 19 years and now my heart is just not wanting to work on its own anymore. Now I have got a battery-operated heart (LVAD), a left ventricle assist device.

It’s a lot physically, mentally, and emotionally

while I wait for a heart transplant! (The thoughts of waiting for someone to die so I can live just don’t sit right with me yet. It’s so sad and scary.)

I’m now out of work trying to live life and get by. I need a little help with money (I did apply for SSI disability, but it is taking a long time to get).
