Support Jemya’s Fight Against Severe Asthma

Hello everyone, my name is JacQuyl. My daughter has severe asthma. Her name is Jemya Harris, she is 22 years old. I’m here asking for assistance with paying her medical bills, or if you can’t provide monetary support, we would appreciate if any pulmonologist would see her in their office pro bono. We need help with doctor’s visit coverage and medication. I’ve been paying for her medication out of pocket. The medication that has been prescribed to her is very expensive. One inhaler can cost up to $500. At the moment, she is prescribed 3 different inhalers with 2 additional medications in order to stay alive.

Jemya has been intubated 5 times: February, May, and December 2024 (also had urgent care visits in between), and February and May 2025. She was just recently released from the hospital on June 4, 2025. While in the ICU, the doctor advised she would be eligible for asthma injection treatment shots monthly. Jemya was insured under my employer insurance, but coverage has ended. I applied for state insurance for her, but she was denied due to the guidelines here in MI. She has lost employment due to recurring absences due to illness. The insurance on the marketplace doesn’t cover what is needed. We are in desperate need for assistance, please help if possible.

Thank you in advance for your support, any assistance, words of encouragement!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
