Hi, my name is Cheryl, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my husband, James.
James has been in the ICU for over four weeks now. Two weeks ago, he was placed in a medically induced coma and is currently on a ventilator and dialysis. His condition is serious, and his journey to recovery will likely include a tracheotomy and an extended stay in a long-term care facility.
James is the kind of man who never asks for help. He’s a dedicated, hardworking family man who has missed maybe three days of work in the last 30 years. He’s always put his family first and has never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
Unfortunately, we just found out that James does not have short-term or long-term disability coverage. To make matters harder, I (his wife) am also currently out of work on FMLA due to recent surgery—just days before James was hospitalized. That means right now, we have no income coming in, while the bills keep piling up.
We’re asking for help to cover medical expenses, household bills, and basic living costs while James continues to fight and heal.
Anything you can give, whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer, means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
With love and gratitude,
Cheryl
