Support Jack Hunter’s Battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Help Jack Hunter Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Jack Hunter has always been the heart and soul of the Shabonna Park community. Whether you’ve seen him organizing youth sports, tending to the baseball fields, helping out a neighbor, or simply sharing a kind word at the park, chances are Jack has touched your life — or someone you love’s — in a meaningful way.

Now, Jack needs our help.

Recently, Jack was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. The news has shaken all of us who know and love him, but if you know Jack, you know he’s a fighter. Through the pain, the treatments, and the uncertainty, his spirit remains strong. He still smiles. He still asks how others are doing before he talks about himself. That’s just who Jack is.

But even the strongest among us need a helping hand.

The costs of Jack’s care are mounting quickly — treatments, transportation, medications, and time away from work are taking a heavy toll. His family is doing all they can, but the road ahead is long and hard. That’s why we’re coming together — friends, neighbors, and anyone who’s been touched by Jack’s kindness — to raise funds that will allow him to focus on healing, not finances.

We’re asking for your support. Any amount helps. And if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Jack in your thoughts and prayers is just as meaningful.

Let’s show Jack the same unwavering support he’s given us over the years. Let’s remind him he’s not facing this fight alone.

Because Jack Hunter has always been there for Shabonna Park. Now it’s time for Shabonna Park to be there for Jack.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
