Support Heidi’s Journey to Health Recovery

Heidi is 54 year old wife & mother who is having serious health issues.

The pulmonologist came in while Allison and Paul were here and didn’t seem to have any answers and was very black and white. We prayed together because it was a frustrating and discouraging interaction. Two things I wanted to ask docs about. The one nurse told me to ask about Hashimotos disease/thyroid related encephalitis. And the other is the test that came back NDMA encephalitis. The neurologist said NDMA is negative but they already were treating for that anyway with the antibiotics.

Neurologist – also assured that those who are reading the EEGs are trained epileptologists and Kaiser has 1 of only 2 epilepsy centers in Southern California. Said not to get caught up in every mg and #s of medication because it’s causing more anxiety. But we are ok to ask as many questions, same questions any day if we need to.

Internal medicine doctor – Holding pattern to see one day a time to make sure they can reduce polypharmacy (multiple medications) with no seizures.

Again it’s a waiting game, they’re hoping to reduce 1 of 3 seizure medications called Dilantin in the next day or 2. Then if no seizures they will keep tapering off.

Good news, Ashley came and said she saw her foot move! Also, I gave Heidi a kiss on the lips and everyone said she opened and locked eyes on me.

She has been in the hospital for 10 weeks now. Danny, her husband has been by her side every day. She is improving each day now but any help for this family is greatly appreciated!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
