We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help and support for our beloved Glafira Alonso Garcia.
Glafira is a beautiful soul who has been bravely battling cancer. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer and went into remission—but tragically, the cancer has returned and spread throughout her body. Doctors have told us that she no longer has treatment options available, and she is now in the final stage of this devastating illness.
Glafira has not been able to work during this time, and her sister Salustiana Alonso Garcia has lovingly stepped in as her full-time caregiver—also having to stop working in order to care for Glafira around the clock.
This situation has placed a huge emotional and financial burden on our family. We are asking for your help to:
• Cover basic living expenses while Glafira and Salustiana are both unable to work
• Help provide comfort and dignity to Glafira during her remaining time
• Prepare for funeral expenses
• Fulfill the family’s wish to send Glafira’s body back to Mexico, her homeland, where she can be laid to rest with loved ones

Nos dirigimos a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para pedir su apoyo y solidaridad para nuestra querida Glafira Alonso García.
Glafira es una persona maravillosa que ha estado luchando valientemente contra el cáncer. Primero fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama y, tras un tiempo en remisión, tristemente el cáncer regresó y ahora se ha extendido por todo su cuerpo. Los médicos nos han informado que ya no hay opciones de tratamiento y que Glafira se encuentra en la etapa final de esta dura enfermedad.
Debido a su estado de salud, Glafira no ha podido trabajar, y su hermana Salustiana Alonso Garcia ha estado a su lado todo este tiempo como su cuidadora principal, también dejando de trabajar para poder cuidarla con todo su amor y dedicación.
Esta situación ha sido muy difícil no solo emocionalmente, sino también económicamente. Por eso, pedimos su ayuda para poder:
• Cubrir los gastos básicos mientras Glafira y Salustiana no pueden trabajar
• Brindarle comodidad y dignidad a Glafira en el tiempo que le queda
• Preparar los gastos funerarios
• Cumplir el deseo de la familia de llevar el cuerpo de Glafira a México, su tierra natal, para que pueda descansar en paz junto a sus seres queridos
