Girish and his family’s world was abruptly shattered when he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on May 11th, just one day before his 40th birthday. The paramedics initially declared him “clinically dead,” only for him to be miraculously resuscitated in a final, desperate attempt. He was rushed to the ICU, where he has since been on a ventilator. While his organs and vital signs have remarkably returned to normal, the cardiac arrest caused significant brain damage. He is in a minimal conscious state.
This marks the beginning of an incredibly tough battle for Girish. With every ounce of remarkable strength and bravery, he is fighting to return to his 5-year-old daughter and his devoted wife.
The path to recovery is extensive, requiring specialized rehabilitation. This immense burden extends far beyond the emotional and physical toll; it weighs heavily on his wife, financially. Mounting medical bills, coupled with the relentless flow of daily expenses, are creating an overwhelming challenge. As he is young, doctors have advised trying various methods and rehab, which require expenses for treatments and continuous care essential for Girish’s healing journey.
