This is Gerson David Alvarez, 46, my dear friend, going through the worst moment of his life. After working as an immigrant in the US for 20 years, he was diagnosed with neuropathy and type 2 diabetes. His family in El Salvador relies on him. Gerson’s hospital bills are accumulating, as well as the money he owes friends and coworkers to make ends meet. Unfortunately, since he was diagnosed with this chronic disease, Gerson had two of his toes amputated, and he is always at risk of losing a foot or leg. He has not been able to work for weeks as he is prone to infections due to poor circulation. If you can find it in your heart to help my friend, please donate to his cause.
