Life can change in an instant, and for our dear friend Katie, it recently did. Katie, a loving mother of two young daughters, has just begun a challenging journey with cancer treatment that will span many months. As many of us know from experience, a serious illness turns life upside down, not just for the person battling it, but for the entire family. Katie doesn’t have immediate family nearby to lean on, making this time even more daunting. While wonderful friends have already set up a meal train (which you can find at https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/4343d2), we’re creating this fundraiser to help with the many other essential needs that often fall by the wayside during such a difficult time. Your support will help cover costs for things like babysitting and other critical tasks that busy parents usually handle, allowing Katie to focus on her health and her daughters to have the care and stability they need.
