Support for Mom’s Cancer and Recovery Journey

In March 2025, my mom became very ill, and in April, she was taken to the ER and placed in ICU for 5 days and hospitalized for 12 days, needing blood transfusions, platelets, and lots of testing. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Endometrial cancer and advanced cirrhosis of the liver. Last Thursday, after her first round of chemo, she was taken by ambulance back to the ER. She had every side effect of chemotherapy one can have. She got Strep, Thrush, Sepsis, bacteria in her bloodstream, and went into septic shock and was non-coherent Thursday and Friday. She needed 3 blood transfusions and more platelets. We almost lost her, and she wasn’t expected to make it through the night. We received a miracle, and she came out of it but needs lots of rehab to build her strength back up. With lots of medical bills piling up, it has placed a financial burden on them.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
