Michelle Foster, my auntie, was in a devastating car accident just a month ago. She suffered a shattered knee and ankle, nine broken ribs, a broken back, a broken arm, a broken pelvis, and a punctured lung. Right now, she’s in a rehab facility, but her injuries are so severe that she hasn’t been able to start her rehabilitation yet. The road ahead for Michelle is long and uncertain, and she’ll need extensive medical care, therapy, and support to recover.
Michelle has always been the main provider for herself and others. She’s the kind of person who opens her heart and her home to anyone in need—she’s even taken in children who aren’t her own, making sure they have a safe place to stay. Her caring nature and willingness to help others have touched so many lives in our community and our family. Now, she needs our help more than ever.
