Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Hearts,
Our beloved mother, Ellen Cullen, is facing the most difficult battle of her life, and our family is humbly reaching out for support during this heartbreaking time. Recently, her health took a severe and unexpected turn, leading to her urgent admission to the ICU, where she was intubated to help her breathe.
This critical turn is a direct result of her aggressive cancer, which has tragically spread to her lungs. We have been given the devastating news that her condition is irreversible, and the focus of her care has shifted to providing comfort and ensuring she can be as peaceful as possible.
She is so much more than her diagnosis. She is a devoted wife, amazing mother, loving grand and great grandmother, and a beacon of strength.
She has always approached life with unwavering courage and a generous heart. Her greatest joy has always been spending time with her family and of course taking care of her 8 dogs!
As we navigate this unimaginable period, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming for our father who has also been out of work for years due to his own health issues.
Beyond the immediate hospital bills, we are also preparing for the difficult reality of end-of-life care, potential hospice needs, and eventually, funeral expenses.
Our priority is to be by her side, holding her hand, and ensuring her comfort and dignity in these final stages. We want to focus all our energy on giving her the peace and love she deserves, without the added stress of mounting financial worries.
We are reaching out to our community for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will directly assist us with current and anticipated cost.
If you are unable to contribute financially, please know that your prayers, positive thoughts, and simply sharing this campaign are incredibly valuable and deeply appreciated. Your emotional support means the world to us.
We will keep this page updated as we move forward. Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and for helping us ensure Ellen receives the loving care and dignity she deserves in her final journey.
With profound gratitude,
The Cullen, Miller, and Dubroc Families
