Ayuda para Víctor Emanuel “Emi” Moreno – Un Niño que Lucha por Sanar
Hace aproximadamente un año y medio, nuestra familia vivió una tragedia que cambió nuestras vidas. Unos hombres armados entraron a la casa de mi primito, Víctor Emanuel Moreno, a quien todos llamamos con cariño Emi, y comenzaron a disparar. Se cree que estaban buscando a otras personas, pero tristemente se equivocaron de casa.
Ese día, su papá (mi tío) perdió la vida tras recibir tres disparos. Mi abuelo también fue herido gravemente, pero sobrevivió. Emi, que solo tenía 10 años en ese momento, fue herido con un disparo en la cabeza. Contra todo pronóstico, logró sobrevivir, pero desde entonces vive con una herida abierta en el cráneo que necesita cerrarse con una cirugía especializada.
Mi abuelo, a pesar de haber recibido tres balazos, asumió con amor el rol de figura paterna para Emi. Sabía lo importante que era esta cirugía para su salud y su vida futura, y trabajó con mucho esfuerzo para reunir el dinero necesario, incluso mientras él mismo seguía recuperándose.
Lamentablemente, el 9 de abril de este año, mi abuelo falleció. Ahora, mi abuela está sola, sin su esposo, sin su hijo, y sin ingresos estables. Ella solo trabaja ocasionalmente, por lo que reunir los fondos restantes para la operación es prácticamente imposible para nuestra familia en este momento.
El costo total de la cirugía que Emi necesita es de $5,000 dólares. Por eso, hoy pedimos tu apoyo. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, nos acerca más a lograr que Emi tenga la oportunidad de vivir una vida sana, segura y digna. Help for Víctor Emanuel “Emi” Moreno – A Brave Child Fighting to Heal
About a year and a half ago, our family went through an unimaginable tragedy. Armed men broke into the home of my little cousin, Víctor Emanuel Moreno, whom we lovingly call Emi, and opened fire. It seems they were looking for someone else but got the wrong house.
That day, Emi’s father—my uncle—was killed after being shot three times. My grandfather was also badly injured but survived. Emi, who was only 10 at the time, was shot in the head. Miraculously, he survived. However, he still lives with an open wound in his skull that requires a delicate surgical procedure.
My grandfather, despite his own injuries, stepped up to care for Emi as a father figure. He was deeply aware of how crucial this operation was and worked hard to raise money for it—even while still recovering from his wounds.
Sadly, on April 9th of this year, my grandfather passed away. Now my grandmother is left alone—without her husband, without her son, and with very limited income. She only works occasionally, and the main providers of the household are no longer with us.
The total cost of Emi’s surgery is $5,000, an amount that our family simply cannot afford on our own. That’s why we’re asking for help. Any donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to getting Emi the surgery he needs to live a safe and healthy life.
