Emily is the kind of person that you want in your life. She is incredibly kind and smart and wickedly funny. Her heart is too big for her body, with her love stretching to family and friends, to strangers, to even the critters she hangs out of cars to say hello to. She lights up every room she’s ever been in, and her laugh is infectious. She is your favorite song that you could never forget. She is the star that always guides you. If there were an 8th wonder of the world, it would be her. She is my wonder in this world. If you know Emily, you cannot help but love her.
On March 10th, time stood still for Emily and all who love her. After an emergency room stay and multiple appointments, Emily was recently diagnosed with stage one kidney cancer. This news has devastated everyone and has caused her to take a medical leave from work to focus on treatment. Despite her efforts to get Medicaid, she was denied and still remains uninsured. Even with the harshness of this disease, the brutal treatments, and all of the setbacks, she has remained the rockstar she is and continues to fight.
Emily is a soul that has fought to help others and now it is time for us to fight for her. Her loved ones are grateful for any help that could be provided at this time to help with her medical and treatment costs.
