If you know Elaine, you know that she is always the first to step up when someone needs help. Whether it’s offering a kind word, a helping hand, or simply being there when it matters most — Elaine shows up. She’s the kind of person who gives from the heart, never expecting anything in return.
On April 1st, Elaine underwent surgery to repair a herniated disk in her spine. After two weeks of recovery, she worked hard to get back on her feet — both physically and financially. She pushed through the pain and stress, determined to catch up on bills and resume her daily life.
Just this past Friday, June 13th, she was finally cleared by her doctor to return to normal activities. But that sense of relief didn’t last long.
Elaine began experiencing new and severe pain in her back. Trusting her instincts, she went to the ER — and thank goodness she did. An MRI revealed that she has developed another herniated disk, and emergency surgery was scheduled for today, June 16th.
This second surgery came out of nowhere. Elaine had barely begun to recover emotionally, physically, and financially from the first one. With no time to plan and no safety net, she now faces the overwhelming burden of medical bills, lost income, and ongoing recovery costs.
We’re asking for your help to support Elaine during this incredibly challenging time. Any donation — big or small — will go directly toward:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Recovery-related costs (transportation, medications, physical therapy)
Essential bills while she is unable to work
Elaine has always shown up for others. Now, we have the chance to show up for her. We understand that life and with the economy it can be rough, so even if you cannot donate, please send a little prayer her way.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
