After several months of enduring a significant amount of pain, which we initially believed was a side effect from the shingles, our dad was diagnosed with stage 4, monoclonal B cell lymphoma. Scans revealed the cancer has spread aggressively throughout several areas of his body. He has already undergone multiple blood transfusions. He will soon begin his first of six aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately, this will be his second battle with cancer and chemotherapy.
We – his children and grandkids are doing everything we can to help and support our parents during this difficult time. Our dad, Deacon Albert is a self-employed builder and has been unable to work or serve the church due to his condition. We have created a fundraiser to help with treatment, medical expenses, and daily needs while he is out of work.
