We’re reaching out on behalf of an incredible woman, Cynthia (Cindy) Rodriguez—a devoted mother, lifelong educator, and mentor who has dedicated her life to serving others through her many roles in the United Independent School District of Laredo, Texas.
If you’ve met her, you know how fiercely she loves, how deeply she cares, and how courageously she faces life’s challenges.
She was recently diagnosed with stage IV diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, an aggressive cancer that has upended her life. Despite the pain and uncertainty, she continues to fight with strength, hope, and grace.
She is currently undergoing a 5-month treatment plan at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, with many more follow-ups ahead. The financial toll of chemotherapy, hospital stays, medications, and both parents retiring to support her has been overwhelming.
This fundraiser was created to help ease the burden of medical expenses and allow our parents to focus entirely on her healing.
With love and gratitude,
Juan Rodriguez (husband and primary caregiver), and daughters (Melizza Robbins, Kimberly Bunn, Valeria Rodriguez & Catherine Rodriguez)
