I am a 65-year-old father of Hugh, age 11, and Lola, age 7. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2018, in addition to two hernia surgeries, two cataracts removed, and my right shoulder needs surgical repair. I suffer from a severely painful ruptured tendon in my right leg. I have struggled to be an active dad that participates in my children’s busy sports and school activities. I have always been productive and pulled my own boots up when times got rough. I was always eager to lend a helping hand. My family means everything to me, and it breaks my heart to see how Parkinson’s has affected their lives. My wife works as a full-time counselor, and I am unable to work. Finances are tight. My neurologist tells me Parkinson’s is progressive and incurable. I’m not ready to throw in the towel. His prescription is to continue pouring Western pharmaceuticals down my throat.
I’m seeking fundraiser help to finance alternative peptide and exosome therapies, which are performed outside of the USA due to the failure of FDA approval. These therapies are not currently covered by my medical insurance. I’m asking for donations from anyone who has watched a family member suffer the slow evaporation of a loved one and is supportive of newly emerging therapies that are giving hope and quality of life to future Parkinson’s Disease patients.
Thank you,
Chris Campana
