Help Charlize and her family cope with their new normal and take care of bills while health comes first. My name is Michele. I am fundraising on behalf of my 15-year-old niece, Charlize, and my sister, Crystal.
My niece was unexpectedly rushed to the hospital, and it was discovered that she is in stage 5 renal failure. Her entire life has been upended along with her family.
Charli, as she is fondly referred to, is the only girl in a group of 5 brothers. This new diagnosis is rocking the family and comes with so many challenges. She will now require 3x week trips over an hour away to Savannah for dialysis, which means time away from school for Charli and time out of work for Crystal. This diagnosis also comes with the need for a new kidney in order to improve her quality of life.
I am trying to raise $15,000 to help cover any unforeseen medical costs while their family also tries to live life as a family of 8.
