Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my brother, Carlos. Three and a half months ago, he received a life-changing kidney transplant, and we were overjoyed at the prospect of him finally living a healthier life. Unfortunately, recent complications have turned our joy into worry.
Recently, a biopsy was performed to monitor his new kidney. Tragically, during the procedure, too many punctures led to a blood clot. The clot grew rapidly, requiring emergency surgery to remove it. To ensure the kidney’s proper function, doctors had to perform another surgery. Sadly, the kidney is not functioning as well as it was before the biopsy. As the man of the house and a loving father to his two kids, ages 12 and 13, this setback has placed an immense financial burden on him and our family.
Our family will be doing everything we can to support him and wouldn’t want to overwhelm him. We believe in the power of community and are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer.
