Support Brent’s Kidney and Pancreas Journey

Hey everyone, my name is Brent. I have been type 1 diabetic for almost 23 years. Unfortunately, 4 years ago, my kidneys started not working at full capacity. I have been on dialysis for 3 years now and on the transplant list for the same amount of time.

The transplant hospital I originally signed up with only offered a kidney transplant. In February, I was told to reach out to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. They not only offered me a kidney, but a pancreas as well. I didn’t even know that was possible! When I get the call that both organs are available, I will have to travel from Texas to Minnesota. After surgery, I will be required to stay in Minnesota for up to 4 weeks for recovery.

Unfortunately, it is not cheap and we are unable to take our dogs. Please help me complete this 23-year journey!
