Hi, my name is Dominica. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my precious rainbow baby girl — born after the heartbreaking loss of my son, Brandon, who passed away from complications of RSV and SIDS. His absence is felt every single day, and our daughter is truly a light in our lives after the storm.
Right now, our family is facing a new and deeply challenging chapter. Our 8 month old daughter, Autumn Rose, has developed serious feeding issues and is currently dependent on a NG feeding tube. While we’re incredibly grateful that insurance covers her medical bills, the reality of caring for a medically fragile child goes far beyond what insurance can provide.
My fiance has been taking half-days from work to support us, but with no extra pay, we are struggling. Between reduced income, daily costs of gas and hospital trips, uncovered supplies, and the emotional weight of watching our baby go through this — we’re stretched thin, financially and emotionally. She has pulled out the tube several times, and we are probably going to be getting her the surgery to place a G tube in her stomach within the next month.
This fundraiser isn’t easy for us to create. We’ve always tried to carry the load quietly, but the truth is: we need help right now. A donation of any size would give us room to breathe, help us stay afloat during this critical time, and allow us to focus on what matters most — caring for our daughter and holding our family together.
I carry Brandon’s memory with me in every moment, and we are doing everything we can to give his little sister the care and love she needs to thrive. If you feel moved to support us — through a donation, a share, or even just a prayer — please know how deeply grateful we are.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and for lifting our family up during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
Dominica, Josiah, and our little girl
