Hello, my name is Ann and I’m a single mother to a beautiful daughter who means the world to me. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because life has taken an unexpected turn and I urgently need help.
Last week, my daughter fell seriously ill with a blood bacterial infection. It came out of nowhere, and I had to use all the money I had to pay for her medical care. As a mother, her health was my first priority, and I did what I had to do.
But just as she started getting better, I fell sick myself. I was diagnosed with chikungunya, which has been spreading quickly in our area. It’s been so painful and exhausting; I can barely walk, and taking care of myself and my daughter has become nearly impossible.
Now I’m completely out of money. I don’t have anyone to turn to. My house rent is due, and I haven’t been able to buy basic things like food or medicine. I’m truly overwhelmed.
I’m asking for $200 to help me:
Cover rent and avoid losing our home
Buy food and basic supplies
Pay for follow-up medical care for both of us
