Hi, my name is Samantha Nuttall, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for someone incredibly dear to me—my best friend of over 20 years. Her name is Alicia Carr, and at just 35 years old, she’s been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
Alicia is truly one of a kind. She’s a loving wife to Taylor and the devoted mom of five beautiful children: Aria (12), Oliver (10), Emilia (8), Theia (7), and little Lincoln, who is just 2 years old. She homeschools her children, is the ultimate “dance mom,” and somehow manages to do it all with grace, humor, and strength. She is the person who always shows up—first to help, last to ask for anything in return. But now, she needs our help more than ever.
This diagnosis came as a shock. Cancer doesn’t care how big your heart is, how loved you are, or how many little lives depend on you—but we do. As she begins the fight of her life, we want to make sure the only thing she has to focus on is healing. No mom should be worrying about medical bills, co-pays, or transportation to treatment while battling a disease like this.
Our goal is to ease the financial burden of treatments, travel, and everyday expenses so that Alicia can stay strong for her family and give herself the best chance possible at beating this.
If you can give, please do. If you can’t, please consider sharing this campaign, sending prayers, or offering support in any way you can. Every little bit means more than words can say.
Thank you for helping us lift up a true super mom, our hero, and one of the most joyful, vibrant souls you’ll ever meet.
With love and hope,
Samantha Nuttall
