Hello, I’m Adam and my wife’s name is Heather. We are trying to raise money to purchase a vehicle. We currently don’t have one due to financial and health matters that occurred last year.
See, last year we had 2 deaths in our family on the same day. On March 11, my wife lost her grandmother and mother within 2 hours of each other. It wasn’t a car wreck or something like that. Her grandmother lived in Houston, Texas, and her mother lived in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. While we were in Mississippi taking care of my mother-in-law’s funeral arrangements, I had a myocardial event which caused me to miss work for nearly 2 months. Due to all of these occurrences, we lost our only means of transportation. Now we have been without a car since February. We are trying to raise money because I cannot adequately take care of Heather, getting her back and forth to the doctor or prescriptions from the pharmacy in our current situation. I currently have to take Uber and Lyft to get back and forth to work, the grocery store, and everything else we need to do. This is costing us between 30 and 45 dollars a day. So purchasing a vehicle is a necessity we don’t have at the moment. Please help us in any way you can.
