Support a Family Facing Medical and Financial Crisis

Well the last place I thought I would be is here describing the last few months and what has me and my family struggling. So it’s just me and my children and unfortunately I ended up having to have surgery to repair a enormous hernia. Now they required me to get gastric bypass and that was in November. They partially repaired the hernia so far but I ended up having severe complications and was hospitalized 3 separate times for severe dehydration due to not being able to keep anything down. Now in that time frame I wasn’t able to work. I was going through my jobs disability which was not much but something and the two weeks I was supposed to be out turned into two plus months. Then the disability denied me and I had to appeal and everything but how can I work if I’m in the hospital close to dying? Well I can’t but they didn’t care. I was unable to to work for November and December and I’m still behind on bills and just got a disconnect notification for my power. I was on a payment agreement but wasn’t able to make the payment on the exact day. I’ve tried to reach out to the department of social services but they won’t help me with what I need. I have resorted to my last hope which is here and hopefully me and my children can get some help to get back on our feet fully I don’t want to lose out apartment and power. I’m not the type to ask for help.. and it is hard to come her asking but anything would be much appreciated. Thankyou so much in advance. And even if you can’t help thankyou for reading my story.
